Hello, I hope all of you have had a nice and relaxing summer! We are coming up on that time of year again for the Annual OSURFC Old Boys Golf Outing and Banquet. These FUNDRAISING events serve both personal and business purposes for the club (or The Clum as we like to call it). Personally it brings together old friends for a few days a year to talk about the old days and to catch up on what's new in their lives. The business end of it is this weekend helps generate funds to assist in the extremely costly and ever rising budget of the current players. The estimated expenses for the coming year are in the $50,000 range!
We appreciate our sponsors from last year and hope you are able to at least match this year as well. Please see below for other ways you can get involved in helping the club.
1. Play in the golf outing - $80 includes golf, cart, prizes, 6 beers, and lunch. RSVP by 9/15.
2. Sponsor a Hole - $50 /hole. Feel free to come to the course and advertise.
3. Attend the banquet - $50 includes steak dinner and beer. RSVP by 9/15.
4. Join the Alumni Society - $30 annual dues gets you several perks including a link to watch OSURFC league games live online, newsletters, and free tailgates during football season. $20 membership for those who pay to golf AND attend the banquet.
5. Sponsor a player - $25 will sponsor a player to attend the awards banquet. Note: If you have already committed to sponsor a hole for $50 or more $25 of that will go towards sponsoring a player so we don't expect you to do both (unless of course you want to).
6. Come Tailgate - Come out and attend the free event!
